Melanie
Burfitt
has
worked in the voluntary sector for many
years as a fundraiser and charity chief
executive. She is currently Interim
Director of Fundraising for a hospice
charity.
Melanie was previously in marketing and
fundraising and spent several years as a
corporate fundraiser for the NSPCC
(National Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Children).
She has been a trustee of the
Triangle Trust 1949 Fund since 1999 and
Chairman since 2003.

Jamie Dicks – Trustee
Jamie Dicks has been extensively
involved in teacher education at a
national, regional and local level
since 1990. She specialises in
training teachers to work with newly
arrived refugees and immigrants
within the field of ESOL (English
for Speakers of Other Languages).
Having retired from her full-time
commitments in 2007, she continues
to contribute to the field as an
adjudicator, lecturer and adviser.
She previously worked as a lecturer
in the USA, France and Germany.
She has been a trustee of the
Triangle Trust since April 2008.

Helen Evans – Trustee
Helen Evans
– Trustee
Helen
has wide-ranging experience of the
business community, voluntary sector and
local government. She served
as Head of the Grants & Arts Unit at
Westminster City Council, managing the
local authority’s grants to voluntary
and arts organisations, prior to moving
to Bristol in 1991, as Regional
Manager for Action Resource Centre
(later part of Business in the
Community), developing employee
community involvement in the south west.
From
1996 to 2008 she was Director of Quartet Community Foundation, one of the first
and most successful community foundations in the UK, managing and distributing
charitable funds on behalf of individuals, companies, charitable trusts and
statutory bodies to meet the needs of people living in the West of England.
She was awarded the OBE in 2008 for her services to the community foundation.
Since
her retirement, Helen has continued her involvement in the voluntary sector as
Trustee of a number of local and national charities.

Andrew Pitt - Trustee
Andrew
became a trustee in October 2010.
He is a
Chartered Accountant and has his own
financial consulting practice London &
Bath Ltd. advising families and
charities on their financial and
business affairs.
He was a
partner with chartered accounts KPMG for
over 20 years, latterly focusing on
private clients and trusts until he
retired in 2005.
He is a
trustee of Bath Preservation Trust, the
Ray Harris Trust and Prior Park
Educational Trust
